　WHITE KLOUDと小笠原シューズとのコラボレーションモデルPLAIN TOE“MAVERICK”
を４月５日、６日に開催されるWHITE KLOUD & OGASAWARA SPRING EXHIBITIONより受注開始致します。　
We will start accepting orders for the PLAIN TOE "MAVERICK", a collaboration model between WHITE KLOUD and OGASAWARA SHOES, at the WHITE KLOUD & OGASAWARA SPRING EXHIBITION to be held on April 5th and 6th.

　革はイタリアのROCADO社・シェルコードバンのバーガンディを使用。
The leather used is burgundy shell cordovan from ROCADO, Italy.

【LEATHER】
　シェルコードバンの革は、最も密度の高い毛穴構造をしており、肉眼では見つけることができません。そのため、非常に耐久性があり、伸縮性があります。シェルコードバンは、本当に希少でユニークな素材です。明るい光沢、しわのないシボ感、素晴らしい革の香りがあり、これらの特徴を時間の経過とともに発達させ、維持する能力があります。
　さらに、シェルコードバンは経年変化が非常に良く、美しい風合いを醸し出します。このクラシックタイプは顔料を使用せず、染料のみで丁寧に均一に染色されており、職人によって磨かれた表面は高級感のある上品な艶を持ち、コードバンでしか味わうことができない魅力があります。
Shell Cordovan leather has the densest pore structure, you cannot spot them with a naked eye, which makes it extremely durable and stretchy. Shell Cordovan is truly rare and unique material. It has bright luster, non-creasing grain character, great leather smell and ability to develop and keep these characteristics over time.
In addition, the shell Cordovan ages very well and develops over time a particularly beautiful patina.　
This classic type is dyed carefully and evenly using only dyes without using any pigments, and the surface polished by artisans has a luxurious and refined luster, giving it a charm that can only be found in cordovan.

【LAST】
WORK SHOES "OW-01"の木型を大幅に修正。つま先に余裕をもたせたシェイプで、足指にかかる負担を軽減。足の甲を低めに設定し、踵〜内外踏まずにかけてのフィット感を前作のOW-01より高めております。
The last of WORK SHOES "OW-01" has been modified significantly. The shape has more room in the toe area, reducing the pressure on the forefoot.
The instep is set lower, improving the fit between the heel and the medial and lateral longitudinal arches of foot than the previous OW-01 model.

【LEATHER】
　植物タンニン鞣し革。繊維が密でハリとコシがあります。オイルワックスをじっくりと染込ませているので、当初は硬さがありますが、次第に馴染んでいく素材です。じっくりと染込ませたオイルワックスにより色艶と共に光沢が増していく独特なエイジングが愉しめます。リバースは着用していくうちに、起毛しタフで荒々しい雰囲気になっていく革です。
Reverse and Minerva Liscio is a rich vegetable tanned leather from an artisanal tannery in Tuscany.
The fibers are dense. It is impregnated with oil wax thoroughly, so it has a stiffness at the beginning, but with wear, the material will gradually fit to your shape as you wear it.
It also has the wonderful effect of increasing its luster with each use. Reverse is a leather that becomes brushed and rugged as you wear it.

愛情溢れる２人について、少しだけお話できればと思います。

私の目から見た 生前の父母は常に何かと戦っている夫婦でした。
故郷を離れ、共に、子供たちを育てるため、身を粉にして働いている姿が今でも目に焼き付いております。

父は板金屋、母は父の手伝いで屋根トタンの加工や、下着の販売、叔母さんの喫茶店のアルバイト、カメラケースの内職など、身体が壊れるまで一生懸命に働いてくれました。

それもこれも家族の為、子供たちには　惨めな思いをさせたくない。
ナニクソの思いで、共に生きてきたのでしょう。

そんな厳しい生活の中でも、私たち兄弟に愛情を注ぎ、笑顔の絶えない暖かい家庭を築いてくれました。

時には後藤家名物の ”馬鹿といえば馬鹿馬鹿” と怒鳴りあったり、カラオケで
【東京ナイトクラブ】や【だんな様】を仲良く歌ったり、お誕生日会したり、互いにシップを貼って笑いあったり。

２人はともとても仲良しでした。

母の病が悪くなるにつれ、夫婦の生活環境も変わりました。

　料理や洗濯など　家事を一切やった事のない父が、朝おきると冷凍野菜をチンしてパンとコーヒーを準備。洗濯機を回して洗濯物を干すという日々でした。

　月2回の通院。母の輸血で昼の12時から夜7時近くまで あなたは病院にいてくれましたね。
オカアが寂しがるからここにいると、輸血している母の近くの席に 週刊誌を読みながらずっとあなたは待っていましたね。

　病気で弱気になっている母が、“お父さん私死んじゃうのかなぁ”て、父は“バカそんなこと言うんじゃねー”って言い返すのですが…。
その姿を想像するだけでも、胸が苦しくなります。

　耳も遠くなり、身体の自由もきかなくなり、やせ細っていく オカアを最後まで看取ってくれた オトウに　オカアは一番感謝していると思うよ。

オトウも、オカアに、”長男の嫁としてよく頑張った”って、そう言ってたよ。


●ヨシナリ〜、ナル〜、ユッカ〜、ショウイチ！　
オカアが　いつも口癖のように そう言ってましたね。
●ヨシナリは 私 の言っていることが分かってるのかあ？ わかってるよね。
●ヨシナリ〜オトウ来たぞ〜、でっけぇ目あけて〜
●オカアは今日 ナルにお風呂に入れてもらって気持ちよかったよ♪
●ナルの作った飯はうまいなぁ〜　
●しっかり者のユッカがいてくれて安心だよ。
●ユッカ、今度いつ来るの？　オトウ待ってるよ。

２人の言葉がいつまでも耳から離れません。

オカア、もう痛まないですむよ。オトウが一緒だから安心だな！
駆け落ちしてまで一緒になりかかった夫婦だから　最後まで一緒で良かったな！

そっちでも２人仲良く喧嘩して、シップを貼りあって下さい。
２りとも良き父母で、最高な夫婦でした。

Making a pair of boots is like going on a trip for me.
Excitement of departure and difficulties along the way. I feel a sense of fulfillment and a little loneliness when I come home.
It was a another wonderful trip!

I'm grateful for being able to work together with you.

The shank spring is fastened in place with wooden pegs.

When replacing the sole, hand stitching is method that can minimize the burden on the upper.






WK Double Stitching is combine durable and beauty

Bundling and twisting three hemp yarns,
Pulls the thread 2m in length through the wax several times,to make it waterproof and durable.

Hand-Lasting & Hammering is the best way to bring out Features of Badalassi Minerva Liscio leather.
Not only does the leather fit tightly over the Last, but it also has a beautiful luster.


After Lasting the shoemaker carefully hammers the leather of the upper to fit the three-dimensional shape of the last.

In this operation the shoemaker compresses the fibers of the leather, thus improving the shape and hardwearing capacity of the boots.


The remaining hollow part of the Boots is filled with light, flexible layers of cork for stability and comfort.

Leather insole fits on the Last with a rubber tube.
It is important that there is not a space between Last & Insole.









Inside counter fits on the last.
It is inserted between the lining and the upper, and all three layers of leather are pulled together on the last.

Modified last is built on a Ready-made last that has been modified to address any problem points a customer may have with fitting samples.
