After Lasting the shoemaker carefully hammers the leather of the upper to fit the three-dimensional shape of the last.

In this operation the shoemaker compresses the fibers of the leather, thus improving the shape and hardwearing capacity of the boots.


The remaining hollow part of the Boots is filled with light, flexible layers of cork for stability and comfort.

Leather insole fits on the Last with a rubber tube.
It is important that there is not a space between Last & Insole.









Inside counter fits on the last.
It is inserted between the lining and the upper, and all three layers of leather are pulled together on the last.

Modified last is built on a Ready-made last that has been modified to address any problem points a customer may have with fitting samples.

ノルウィージャン製法は、登山靴やスキー靴などに用いられた製靴法で、屈曲性に優れたステッチダウンにスクイ縫い（アッパーとインソールが縫い付けられている）をプラスしたことにより、横ぶれを抑え安定感のある履き心地を実現。耐久性、耐水性においても優れた製法です。
　面構えもアッパーサイドに施されたスクイ縫い＆チェーンステッチは唯一無二の存在感。

一目一目の縫い方で表情が変わってくる。まさに鬼軍曹ばりの顔つきで縫っています。
