Basically,the measuring and fitting is 1visit. You will don't need to come to my work shop again if there is no problem with the fitting of the sample boots.

Plese note: Now,delivery time is about 19 months later.


Order flow:

1.Contact us
　Please contact us by e-mail, we will explain the flow of the order and to respond to your questions. When you visit the workshop and then, we will explain the production process.

2.Measurements and fitting
After measurements, we will check your fitting by the sample boots. If you have any problem with fitting. we will explain the option of fitting systems.

* Regarding a custom-made last(Full custom fit): You will need to visit my workshop at least twice.


3.Selection of material

4.quote
　Once you have determined the contents of the order, we will quote the total amount of boots and Please pay us 50% cash(JPY) of total amount of boots as deposit.


5.delivery
After completion of your boots, please pay us the balance, we will send your boots to your address.
In addition, shipping costs will be charged.

　一段目のステッチを手縫いにする事により修理の際、甲革にかかる負担を最小限に抑える事ができます。
耐久性と美しさを兼ね備えた優れた製法です。
中底が木型にしっかりと密着してないと手縫いが乱れる。どの製法も簡単はありえない。

習慣化は安定を生み、安定は腐敗を生む。
"不安定は革新に繋がる"

縫製した甲革を木型に添わせる作業。隙間なく木型のフォルム通り忠実に再現する事が重要です。
革の伸び方向とか考えると、つり込みという作業は、裁断をするところから既に始まってます。
つまり、どの工程も全て一連の流れで繋がっているので完成まで気が抜けません。

今回はクロムエクセルとシボ革のコンビ。この時点ではわからないが、完成後にとても良いマッチングだと痛感します。

クロムエクセルのこの照り感がタマラナイ。

先芯と月形は通常、紳士靴のレザーソールとして使用される革なので、クセ付けしないとつり込みが上手くまとまらない。
手間がかかり、非効率。

だがしかし、唯一無二はこういう地味な作業から生まれるのです。

中底、ミッドソール、積上げ、月型は5ミリ厚のベンズレザーから、先芯は3ミリ厚のベンズレザーから作ってます。


ゴムチューブで中底をしっかりとクセ付け。


靴の土台でもある中底はしっかりとした物を選びたい。木型へのクセ付けも気持ちよいくらいに吸い付く感じです。


エッジの角度なども靴のフォルムや仕上がりの精度に影響します。


月型、先芯も最初は手漉きで。


グラインダーを使い仕上げます。





良い素材は、仕上がりの良さと、何より長持ちします。
甲革も大事ですが中身が良いとより一層、靴の輝きが違って見える。

ホワイトクラウドの出し縫い糸は、既成の糸ではなく、麻糸/単糸を3本によって松ヤニを染み込ませ手製の糸を作ります。針はイノシシのたてがみを使ってます。
